Try it! Perfecto Vanilla Caramel

Here is our first Tip! One product that we make is Perfecto Caramel. This caramel is ideal for apple dipping!



Apple Dipping Instructions using Perfecto Caramel from Burke Candy
• Weigh off 2 ½ pounds of Caramel
• Put in a Microwave safe bowl
• Set timer for 2 minutes-Stir Caramel to get any lumps out.
• Check Caramel to see if it is fluid, if not fluid enough-add 30 seconds more
• Take out if Microwave and dip apples.
• Put on Wax paper that that does not stick to the caramel
• Yield- 8 – 10 Apples- Depending on the size of the Apple
• Let cool and sell.
• Left over Caramel can be reheated at a low temperature or add to next batch

Apple Preparation
• Note: Be sure to rub apples with dry cloth to remove the wax.
• Put sticks in apple before melting the caramel
• Granny Smith Apples have the best flavor

Converting Perfecto Caramel to a Liquid Caramel

• Use 2 ½ pounds of Perfecto caramel and place in a microwaveable bowl.
• Use 1 - 12oz. can of Evaporated Milk. Add to caramel.
• Place into microwave and heat for 1-2 minutes.
• Stir, and repeat until completely mixed.
• This caramel can be used in many applications such as brownies, cookies and sauces.
